Old Station Caravan Park

Old Station Caravan Park

New Radnor ~ Powys ~ Mid Wales

The Railway Station at New Radnor in Powys, Mid Wales, first became a caravan park in 1966 following the closure of the New Radnor Branch Line in 1951.

Our aim has been to preserve its serenity and history.

Most recently we have restored the old railway ticket office into a stylish holiday cottage. We have modernized the building whilst keeping many of the original features.

There are lots of leisure activities to do here including:

– Cycling
– Mountain Biking
– Bird Watching
– Fishing
– Horse Riding
– Canoeing
– Paragliding
– Rally School

The village of New Radnor is situated a short walk away.

Here you will find a pub and village shop.
There is also a children’s play park and tennis court.

Good food is served at all the local pubs, we are happy to recommend places to eat If you are interested in golfing there are many good courses locally – the nearest being Kington just 6 miles away which boasts the highest green in England.

Old Station

Mid Wales is one of the most unspoilt areas in the country with superb scenery and many local attractions which are easily accessible from the Old Station Caravan Park. If you are planning a walking break or simply want to get away and relax this is an ideal place to stay.
