Even once the pandemic was behind us and travel restrictions are a thing of the past, staycations have remained popular. This is largely due to the fact that staycations are cost effective, convenient and easy to organise.

Scotland stands out as being a popular staycation spot, with 11% of people saying that they intended to visit the region.
